AUSTIN, Texas -- In their fourth try, the Staten Island Club of the Deaf (SICD) Showstoppers won their first ever 4x4 Flag Football championship at the 26th United States Flag Football For the Deaf Super Bowl XXVI.
Of the five teams competing for the 8 x 8 women’s USFFD national championship title, none of them really had a chance except for Pink Ladies and BB. Dallas Thunder, EMUNA, and Hoosier Gals were shut out by the Pink Ladies and BB.
WASHINGTON D.C., -- The Staten Island Club of the Deaf (SICD) Showstoppers won their first ever 8x8 Flag Football championship at the 25th United States Flag Football For the Deaf Super Bowl XXV, nearly shutting out the competition.
With 15 teams vying for USFFD’s 4 x 4 men’s national championship, 11 out of 29 games were decided by 7 points or less. The Aerial Attack, #6 seed managed to advance to the championship game against Indy’s Finest winning the initial championship game 22-13.
