John Ringle
John was an all-around athlete at the Kansas School
for the Deaf. He made the team when he was only 13 years old. At Gallaudet, he earned the nickname "Jack Rabbit"
for his running ability. In his second year at Gallaudet, he was one of the leading college scorers in the country.
He later organized midget football and was inducted into the AAAD Hall of Fame in 1954. |

Henry Swinney Sr.
Henry was a legendary football player at Tennessee School for the Deaf.
His career spanned six football seasons for a total of only 19 games He scored 30 career touchdowns for an average of 1.5 per game. |
