    Hall of Fame Inductees

1988 Inductees - Washington, District of Columbia

    Frank Turk

Frank was one of the outstanding football players for the Minnesota School for the Deaf and Gallaudet College (1947-1952). He holds the record for the most tackles in one game (29). Frank was a two-way player - playing guard on offense, and tackle on defense - despite of his small size (5'8", 165 lbs). He was constantly double and triple blocked on defense, and yet made many tackles.
